Master Bathroom

I love our bathroom. The best part of it, is that it connects to our bedroom. I have grown to really appreciate that when I am up 3-4 times a night to go to the bathroom. The whirlpool tub is a nice way to unwind after a long day at work. I love having seperate vanities as well, and the storage that we have in this bathroom is wonderful.

Living Room

My favorite part about the living room, besides the open floor plan to the kitchen and dining room is the windows with the awesome view and the bamboo hardwoord. I love the cathedral ceiling as well, although I still think it would look awesome with the wood planks.

Dining Room

I love having the kitchen, dining room and living room open. Our table which took up most of our old kitchen space now looks so small.

Kitchen

Ok here are the long awaited pictures of the house now that we are mostly settled in. I will start with posting pictures of the kitchen. I love the granite. I am very pleased with how everything turned out.

Inspection Results

Ok so you are all waiting and wondering how the inspection went today. Well, how do I say it. After months of hard work and four full days of Bill working pretty much non stop from morning until close to midnight.......we passed. Yippee! We are so excited. Bil is picking the uhaul up as we speak and we plan to move the beds in tonight. We are going to sleep in our new house tonight. I am so excited. Tomorrow we have a full day of moving planned with last minute moves on Sunday as well. We have some helpers lined up and hope it all goes smoothly.

Tub tile work

Daryl was out today to do the tile work on the whirlpool tub, he got most of it finished and plans to return tomorrow to finish it up. We are hoping he gets it all done tomorrow as we have inspection tomorrow and this has to be done to get our occupancy permit. It looks awesome, I really like the design we chose, it blends so nicely in the bathroom.

Bill also got the front deck rails finished, and the step on the back deck, as well as all of the outlets in the basement finished. Tomorrow he needs to finish dryer vent, install pendant lights and dining room light and drywall the attic access (a code requirement we were unaware of).

Whirlpool tile work

The tile guy was out to measure the tile yesterday and is planning to return today to tile around the whirlpool tub in our master bathroom. I am very excited to see this completed. After he is finished with this, we just need him to tile the backsplash in the kitchen and fix a broken tile.
