Today began a bit stressful the appraiser was having some difficulty finding similiar houses in our area with 9 acres. However he did find some similiar ones and the appraisal appraised at over 20% borrowing value, so we are in good shape with our 20% down in equity on the land. I am so glad we bought the land four years ago, since the prices of the land have gone up so much over the past four years.
Another stress that I have been having for a few weeks are the rising interest costs, I was so concerned because we were not locked in at any rate, that I knew of anyway. Today I found out that we have been locked in since May and the rate is now 1% more, but we are still locked in at 5.875%. This was extremely exciting news for us. Everything is going smooth and settlement date is still set for 6/29/07. The bank does not anticipate any issues with the settlement going forth on 6/29. We have to get our home owners insurance and liability insurance to them and we are all set.
IT IS FINALLY HAPPENING!!!!!!!
