Yesterday the water-proofing was completed on our foundation. We are now ready to call the bank to have the draw inspector to come out so they can release our first draw so that we can pay for the excavation, foundation, and water-proofing. Next step is to order the lumber for our framing. We are pretty sure we have selected our window vendor now. Our cabinets need ordered soon too, we have pretty much picked them out already too. We are talking about adding a stone gas fireplace into the main living area against the one wall, we are still tossing this idea around, we are pretty sure we can fit it into the budget. Everything is moving so fast, I want to get pricing on glass shower unit for our master bathroom, I think this is something that we will love and appreciate in the end, but it will depend if it is within our budget to do it or not. Not much else to report on the new house.
Our current house is coming along nicely, we got the front porch painted, along with all other exterior fixtures painted. The hallway and Hannah's room are drywalled and in the process of being taped and coated. Bathroom ceiling has been fixed, now it just needs re-textured. We have to fix front porch floor, lay out door carpet, power wash house and deck, install souffet, and finish kitchen yet. A lot to do but slowly the list is getting shorter.
