We completed settlement on Friday so we officially have the financial backing to breakground. We submitted our builders permit and are waiting for it to come back to start. We talked to the builder permit people this morning and they said we should have our permit within a few days, we already have the escavator scheduled for Saturday. If all goes well, we should break ground on Saturday, July 7, 2007 or 7/7/07. 7 just may be our lucky number from now on. LOL :)
Tonight we have an appointment with the consultant to set up a schedule to go by to get all work complete by. This will be our date line that we will need to stick to in order to get in the house by end of Oct, as we hope to do. We have until Jan to be in the house, but we are hoping to be in by the end of Oct beginning of Nov.
We spent our weekend going through clothes, packing clothing, getting rid of old toys etc. Bill dug up all of our shrub trees and took them to our land so that our yard would appear bigger when we put the house on the market. The shrubs will look nice on our land and it will be nice to have something on the land that we planted to watch grow over the years. Bill also installed our mailbox on our land. Our mailing address will be 345 Ernest Road. Nice and easy to remember.
