I received a call from the settlement services indicating that the tax accessment office called them to inform that when our deed was conveyed into my married name and Bill's name that the other deed that connected the deed that the house will be built on should have been conveyed over too. If they do no get this straightened out within 60 days the tax accessement office is going to roll back our taxes and charge us 4 years of back taxes for the difference. I tried to call the tax accessment office to see if we have the second tract of land deeded seperately and conveyed in both of our names if the clean and green will be safe but the person I need to speak to is on vacation until Monday. Go figure! I guess they are going to try to get as much tax money out of us as they can....urggggggg I am so annoyed right now.
Framing will likely begin on 7/30, the framers are on vacation next week so we will not be able to get started on 7/23 as was initially anticipated. Oh well, this will give us an extra week to take care of the bank draw, ordering lumber, and windows, etc.
